Description

  • Design and implement microservice architecture JEE software applications.
  • Develop full-stack web and batch applications with high scalability.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Build backend applications using Java frameworks and related technologies.
  • Develop front-end functionality using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as needed.
  • Use development and testing tools such as Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, and Atlassian Suite.
  • Implement server-side logic, database integration, and data flow between backend and frontend.
  • Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
  • Debug application issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Create and maintain technical documents and user manuals for software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 years of total IT experience primarily as a Full-Stack Java Developer.
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on experience as a Backend Java Developer.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using Java for backend and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience integrating with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with client-side validation, event handling, and dynamic content updates.
  • Experience with Agile system development methodologies and team-oriented, collaborative environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work productively in a dynamic, priority-shifting, deadline-driven environment.
  • Active IRS MBI clearance.
