Description

  • Define and execute NIVA Health's technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead Engineering, AI, Data, and Platform teams.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global engineering organization.
  • Drive software architecture, AI initiatives, automation, cloud infrastructure, and platform scalability.
  • Establish engineering standards, governance, CI/CD, security, and development best practices.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI models, and product opportunities.
  • Balance strategic leadership with technical architecture and solution design.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership.
  • Prior experience as CTO, Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or Fractional CTO.
  • Proven experience building products from concept through production.
  • Strong background leading distributed engineering teams.
  • Deep experience with AI and LLM technologies, including prompt engineering, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.
  • Experience designing scalable cloud architectures, especially within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong software engineering background with experience in Python and modern backend development.
  • Experience with API design and integration using REST/FastAPI or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Git/GitHub, engineering governance, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, MedTech, regulated industries, cloud data platforms, front-end technologies, mobile architecture, cloud security, observability, code reviews, IoT, edge computing, computer vision, and BLE integrations.
