Description

  • Proactively identify market opportunities through direct outreach and partner channels.
  • Build and manage relationships with banks, financial firms, marketplaces, e-commerce providers, and other key players.
  • Map target accounts, influence decision-makers, and close new business deals.
  • Negotiate and persuade clients and partners on Nium’s value proposition.
  • Generate qualified opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline across the region.
  • Work across banking, financial services, card issuing, e-commerce, and payments domains with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Analyze target clients’ business, operations, and performance to tailor business development efforts.
  • Navigate financial services and fintech regulatory environments effectively.
  • Meet or exceed financial targets, sales goals, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Manage high-pressure client situations with varied business needs and operating environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology firm within financial services, with business development, sales, strategy, or account management experience in Brazil.
  • Experience in payments, remittances, and/or prepaid/debit cards is preferred.
  • Deep network of contacts in Brazil and understanding of the financial, e-commerce, banking, cross-border payments, and financial services industries.
  • Ability to learn the solution, assess opportunities and challenges, and present transparently in a consultative professional style.
  • Strong analytical and strategic negotiation skills with a goal-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a regional pipeline and deliver ambitious volume and revenue targets year over year.
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding individual sales goals.
  • Project leadership experience and ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading all stages of the business development lifecycle for multiple accounts.
  • CV must be submitted in English.
