Description

  • Provide L2/L3 support for complex multi-tier applications.
  • Monitor application performance using APM tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and availability issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Manage containerized applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
  • Support AWS infrastructure components including EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, VPC, and VPN.
  • Perform OS-level troubleshooting on Windows and Linux systems.
  • Analyze database performance issues across SQL, Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra.
  • Support middleware and application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
  • Investigate networking and load balancer issues affecting application performance.
  • Use ITSM and incident management tools and processes, and contribute to automation and production release support in Agile environments.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Application Support or Production Support.
  • Strong experience managing multi-tier 2-tier/3-tier applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Hands-on experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
  • Experience with middleware technologies such as Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
  • Experience with databases including SQL, Oracle, Postgres, and Cassandra.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and load balancing concepts.
  • OS-level expertise in Windows or Linux environments.
  • Good scripting knowledge with Shell, Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Perl, or Ruby.
  • Experience working in DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or Application Operations teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
