Description

  • Build, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers.
  • Test and validate internal LLMs, external AI tools, and other non-deterministic systems.
  • Own test planning, execution, and release support from story validation through production deployment.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the team’s quality advocate by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring other quality engineers.
  • Establish best practices for defect tracking, triage, communication, and issue reproduction.
  • Monitor production health and support defect detection and resolution.
  • Collaborate in scrum ceremonies and escalate release risks and defect trends to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • 5+ years building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright.
  • Experience with manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, and database testing.
  • Solid understanding of Git branching strategies, PR workflows, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
  • Ability to actively participate in scrum ceremonies and support production escalations.
  • Experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning/online education platforms.
  • Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium for E2E browser automation.
  • Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Mocha for unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with k6, JMeter, or Locust, plus test execution via GitHub Actions and AWS.
  • Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic, and test management tools such as TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.
  • Preferred: experience testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services.
  • Preferred: familiarity with performance and accessibility testing.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS or GCP and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
  • Preferred: prior background in EdTech or consumer-facing SaaS products.
  • Background check required as part of the pre-employment process.
