Description

  • Lead technical evaluations and Proof of Value engagements through to a successful Moment of Value.
  • Design, build, and deliver value-based product demonstrations for prospects.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales process, including answering technical questions and handling objections.
  • Respond to RFPs and support opportunity qualification, strategy, and business justification.
  • Partner with Account Executives to secure technical wins and identify expansion opportunities through upsells and renewals.
  • Act as a solution architect and trusted advisor to prospects.
  • Provide customer feedback to product management and engineering to influence product direction.
  • Drive adoption, optimization, and integration of New Relic products in customer evaluations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience in the software industry, including at least 3 years working with complex customers.
  • Expert-level knowledge of performance monitoring tools across infrastructure, application, web/mobile, or user experience.
  • Familiarity with one or more development languages such as Java, .Net, Ruby, C, Python, or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, enterprise architecture patterns, and API integration.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Consultative problem-solving ability with real-time technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex technical evaluations and RFPs simultaneously.
  • High self-motivation and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
  • Familiarity with SAP and OTEL is a plus.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, containers, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD is preferred.
  • Background in iOS and Android platforms and architectures is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
