Description

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate compliance and statutory reporting calendars across multiple countries, primarily in EMEA and APAC.
  • Work with accounting, tax, and legal teams to gather, review, and submit audit and non-audit filing requirements to auditors and filing authorities on time.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external compliance agencies to ensure accountability for audits, filings, and related deliverables.
  • Prepare entity financial statements in-house or coordinate with external consultants to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Follow up with in-house accounting teams for audit and filing schedules, supporting documents, and related documentation.
  • Resolve accounting questions and issues that arise during audit reviews.
  • Track tax and legal teams to ensure initial and follow-up PBC queries are submitted.
  • Manage submission of company-wide surveys by coordinating data collection and consolidation across teams.
  • Ensure company insurance policies are renewed on time and premiums are paid by coordinating with legal, HR, and accounting teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional accounting certification such as CA or CPA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles across public companies, late-stage startups, and/or public accounting firms.
  • Experience handling audits and statutory filings across entities in EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP, Coupa, Workday, Concur, Workiva, Xactly, and Blackline.
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, including the ability to independently analyze transactions and contracts and document findings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to see the big picture and also dive into the details.
  • Experience working with an accounting organization of similar size is a plus.
  • Experience managing accounting in a SaaS product business is a plus.
  • Experience working in large audit firms is a plus.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
