Description

  • Lead the Technical Sales team in securing new business and aligning customer requirements with final bid specifications.
  • Build and maintain bid processes that improve accuracy, response speed, and win probability.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs for technical sales and business development staff.
  • Oversee pipeline analytics, bid reporting, solicitation tracking, and option-conversion forecasting.
  • Forecast market sales and profitability to inform long-term planning and resource decisions.
  • Conduct competitive research and market landscape analysis to guide product direction, pricing strategy, and program development.
  • Monitor contract profitability, risk, and performance, and resolve customer concerns to support backlog health.
  • Support regional sales teams and other functions in developing and executing customer-centric sales strategies.
  • Create sales materials, toolkits, presentations, FAQs, and training resources.
  • Lead value-added programs that strengthen competitive positioning and expand market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract development within a manufacturing or technical services environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favourable outcomes.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging C-suite executives.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Teamcenter, and Oracle.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strategic, results-oriented mindset.
