Description

  • Define and execute the quality engineering vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary QA organization covering platform QA, data quality, automation, and performance engineering.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and customer success leaders to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Establish quality KPIs and dashboards for release readiness, product stability, and production health.
  • Own functional and regression testing across microservices, SDKs, APIs, and UI layers.
  • Drive non-functional testing for performance, scalability, reliability, failover, and compatibility.
  • Lead security testing efforts and coordinate with DevSecOps and compliance teams on ISO, SOC 2, and GDPR adherence.
  • Partner with data science teams to build data quality pipelines and define validation standards for AI model accuracy, precision, bias, and drift.
  • Oversee QA for custom deployments, integrations, and client-specific configurations.
  • Institutionalize CI/CD-driven test automation and promote shift-left testing, static analysis, contract testing, and chaos testing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience leading QA teams in a SaaS or platform environment.
  • Proven experience in AI/ML or data-centric product quality, including validation of data pipelines and ML models.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or PyTest.
  • Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
  • Experience with security testing tools and practices including OWASP, Burp Suite, or ZAP.
  • Strong grasp of API and SDK testing in multi-platform environments such as web, mobile, or voice.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: familiarity with observability tools such as ELK, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry, and with GenAI testing, RAG validation, secure SDLC, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
