Description

  • Define and lead the technical strategy and architecture for scalable, production-ready data science and AI solutions.
  • Select appropriate frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms while establishing best practices for model lifecycle management.
  • Ensure data science and AI solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of machine learning, statistical, and predictive models from exploration through optimization.
  • Oversee feature engineering, model training, validation, tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Develop advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI and LLM-based systems when applicable.
  • Guide architecture decisions for RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Integrate AI components into enterprise applications and workflows.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, technology, and industry.
  • Lead and mentor Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Analysts while fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Proven experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Leadership and people management skills with experience guiding diverse teams and developing talent.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced English level.
