Description

  • Define end-to-end generative AI architecture integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
  • Design bring-your-own-model patterns that let Salesforce securely access foundational models hosted on AWS.
  • Architect data ingestion, grounding, and RAG strategies using unified customer profiles from Data Cloud.
  • Establish AI governance controls aligned with the Einstein Trust Layer, including privacy, zero-data retention, and PII masking.
  • Lead implementation of Model Builder and Prompt Builder and connect them to external AWS endpoints.
  • Configure Amazon Bedrock agents and knowledge bases for task execution and proprietary data retrieval.
  • Develop serverless middleware with AWS Lambda and API Gateway to connect Salesforce Flow/Apex with AWS inference endpoints.
  • Oversee model fine-tuning in SageMaker when domain-specific adaptation is needed.
  • Partner with data engineers to ingest, harmonize, and activate data from S3, Redshift, and other sources into Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to embed AI outputs into business workflows and user experiences.
  • Monitor LLM performance, latency, and token costs, and implement caching and model-selection optimizations.
  • Evaluate emerging Salesforce and AWS capabilities such as Zero Copy Data Sharing and vector databases.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, or data science.
  • 3+ years of experience specifically focused on AI/ML solutioning or data engineering.
  • Proven experience deploying at least one generative AI solution into production.
  • Deep expertise in Amazon Bedrock, including Knowledge Bases, Agents, and Guardrails.
  • Proficiency with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM for secure cross-cloud access.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein 1 Platform, and Model Builder/Prompt Builder.
  • Experience designing RAG architectures and vector database integrations such as OpenSearch Serverless or Pinecone.
  • Expert-level knowledge of REST/gRPC APIs, OAuth flows, and named credentials for Salesforce-to-AWS connectivity.
  • Proficiency in Python for AWS Lambda/Boto3 and familiarity with Apex for Salesforce triggers/callouts.
  • Experience implementing Zero Copy architecture between Salesforce and data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift is a major plus.
  • Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce AI Associate.
  • Deep understanding of context windows, prompt engineering techniques such as Chain of Thought and ReAct, and embeddings.
  • Strong security awareness, including prompt injection prevention and data residency compliance.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
