Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, diabetes educators, and key diabetes institutions.
  • Promote Sequel products and services to drive adoption and continued growth in the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate and discuss Sequel products and diabetes treatment options with healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience and resolve issues.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to inform problem-solving and product development.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and professional diabetes organization events to build awareness.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and product training documentation in the customer relationship database.
  • Maintain active relationships with state and local patient advocacy groups and diabetes organizations.
  • For senior roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, participate in advisory boards, and lead team calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success.
  • For Senior Territory Business Leader roles: 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of success.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists are strongly preferred.
  • Experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, analyze data, solve problems, and execute sales and marketing plans.
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography and be able to travel extensively by car, including overnight travel and transporting samples and literature.
  • For senior roles: multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals, recognition for sales performance, leadership/development experience, conference representation experience, and demonstrated career progression are preferred.
