Description

  • Own monthly revenue for the assigned territory by retaining existing accounts, developing new business, and increasing multi-brand penetration.
  • Manage key account relationships, including a multi-store chain partner and other named accounts, through buyer-level relationships, business reviews, and joint promotions.
  • Spend four days per week in the field and complete 25+ in-person account visits per week with documented call notes.
  • Build and execute a written territory plan with target accounts, route cadence, and quota by account.
  • Partner with brand teams on demo days, ride-alongs, and product launches in the region.
  • Submit weekly forecasts and pipeline reviews and maintain CRM hygiene.
  • Cover the Central California territory, including Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mono, Mariposa, Merced, Madera, San Benito, Monterey, Fresno, Inyo, Tulare, and Kings counties.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience, ideally in California cannabis, beverage, CPG, or another regulated distribution channel.
  • A demonstrated track record of revenue growth in a defined territory, including both retention and new business.
  • Comfort managing a geographically expansive territory and willingness to drive long routes regularly in addition to dense Bay Area coverage.
  • Fluency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable platforms, with a data-driven approach to forecasting.
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Existing relationships with California licensed retailers, especially Bay Area independents and/or North Bay / North Coast chain buyers, preferred.
  • Experience selling a multi-brand portfolio, preferred.
  • Familiarity with cannabis-specific operating realities such as METRC and retail license types, preferred.
  • Ability to work in one of the eligible states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WA.
