Description

  • Configure OMS displays, including tabular views, forms, icons, and outage assist screens.
  • Configure OMS settings such as prediction rules and the ETR matrix.
  • Follow configuration best practices, including testing, code review, and source control.
  • Investigate OMS issues by reviewing journal files, log files, process monitoring data, and interface behavior.
  • Investigate data issues involving journal files, dynamics, snapshots, and relational databases.

Requirements

  • Experience working with and/or supporting an electric utility Outage Management System.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex problems in real-time systems.
  • Experience and skills with the GE e-terra suite.
  • Understanding of ADMS system architecture.
  • Understanding of OMS system processes and high-level business processes.
  • Understanding of OMS inputs, including models, calls, AMI, topology, and operations.
  • Understanding of OMS outputs, including incidents, public interfaces, and historical data.
  • Understanding of OMS functions and components, including displays, forms, and data.
  • Preferred: Experience creating and executing shell scripts and/or Python.
  • Preferred: Experience with SQL queries and reporting tools/platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and Jenkins.
  • Preferred: Experience with Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Preferred: Experience with DevOps practices, GitHub, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Preferred: Experience with relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
