Description

  • Develop and lead an integrated talent strategy aligned with M+R’s mission, values, priorities, and future needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to assess talent requirements, identify critical capabilities, and address workforce risks and gaps.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, staffing operations, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Build leadership pipelines, succession plans, career pathways, and talent mobility programs.
  • Lead and develop staffing, recruiting, and talent development teams.
  • Use workforce data, organizational insights, and market trends to guide talent decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Advise senior leaders on talent, culture, workforce, organizational effectiveness, and change.
  • Champion equity, inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety across the employee lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve talent practices, systems, technology, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of progressive HR or People experience, including at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise-wide People and Culture strategies.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, engagement, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience advising executive and senior leaders on people, culture, workforce, and organizational matters.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing People teams and build scalable programs and processes.
  • Experience leading organizational change and implementing new structures, processes, and ways of working.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, including workforce data analysis and impact measurement.
  • Experience managing budgets, HR technology, vendors, and external partners.
  • Experience leading leadership development, career pathways, employee development, succession planning, and organization-wide engagement activities.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, belonging, psychological safety, collaboration, clear communication, and continuous improvement; nonprofit, advocacy, professional services, or unionized-environment experience and familiarity with Lever, Trakstar, or Rippling are preferred.

Benefits

  • Starting salary of $162,000, with potential adjustment for additional relevant experience and a no-negotiation compensation policy.
  • 36-hour workweek with half-day Fridays and scheduling flexibility.
