Description

  • Design, build, document, test, and maintain network, compute, and storage infrastructure for the cloud platform supporting the AV fleet.
  • Monitor production systems, support incidents, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Assist with high-level analysis, system design, and code reviews.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and team leads to identify system requirements.
  • Work on observability systems and CI/CD pipelines for integrations with ride-hailing partners such as Uber and Lyft.
  • Drive cost, performance, and security optimizations for cloud systems.
  • Develop automation, services, and LLM-integrated bots to reduce developer toil.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify pain points and improve developer productivity.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps engineer designing and building distributed systems.
  • Experience with Golang or Python.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, VPC, S3, IAM, and IoT.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
  • Ability to take projects from ideation through completion.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple international teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment.
  • Preferred experience working with a globally distributed team.
  • Preferred experience with serverless architectures and SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Preferred experience with time-series databases and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Redash.
  • Preferred experience with GenAI solutions such as Q Developer/Business or Gemini.
  • Preferred experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Preferred experience with error monitoring tools such as Sentry or Incident.io.
