Description

  • Lead complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles with minimal oversight, including qualification, discovery, and deal structuring.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through closing for strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to enter new markets and expand existing client relationships.
  • Deliver customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Analyze client needs and market data to craft tailored solutions and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce to support business strategy.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members and help foster a high-performance team culture.
  • Contribute to the development of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Represent Morning Consult externally as a subject matter expert and build relationships with industry leaders and partners.
  • Continuously share feedback and insights to improve team and organizational performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of closing complex deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy.
  • Familiarity with survey research and its methods is highly valued but not required.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance.
  • Experience contributing to sales processes, methodologies, or best practices.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $107,500 to $174,900, with a midpoint of $141,200.
  • Eligibility for additional variable compensation.
  • Equity grant eligibility.
  • Remote work option, with the role available from any office location or remotely.
  • Modern office locations in Washington, DC, Chicago, and New York City.
