Description

  • Grow the engineering services business with new customers, channel partners, and projects.
  • Prospect for new opportunities through existing networks, customer and market research, and direct outreach.
  • Meet and qualify prospects online and in person, including C-level executives.
  • Understand customer challenges and goals and map them to Moonsong Labs capabilities and solutions.
  • Create proposals that frame business challenges and structured solutions.
  • Negotiate and close new business contracts that are mutually beneficial.
  • Work with solutions architects, engineering, and business operations to validate the business and technical fit of new projects.
  • Manage renewals and expansion opportunities with existing customers.
  • Represent Moonsong Labs at conferences and events as an outward-facing spokesperson.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant sales, business development, or growth experience.
  • Experience selling complex software services engagements.
  • Experience selling to traditional finance and financial technology customers is highly desirable.
  • Experience or strong interest in crypto, ideally including Ethereum and Solana, is highly desirable.
  • A pre-existing network and connections in relevant domains is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand customer challenges in a complex software environment and propose solutions based on product or service capabilities.
  • High energy, outgoing, networking-oriented approach to prospecting and opportunity generation.
  • Ability to build new champions and accurately report on sales situations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and experience evaluating opportunities from technical, business, financial, and risk perspectives.
