Description

  • Lead developer enablement efforts for strategic customers and guide adoption of MongoDB solutions.
  • Deliver design review sessions to customer development teams on MongoDB document schema design for specific workloads.
  • Become a subject matter expert on document schema design and core MongoDB database functionality.
  • Develop working knowledge of MongoDB Atlas features including Search, Vector Search, Data Federation, Online Archive, and Streaming.
  • Host virtual and in-person developer enablement sessions for technical audiences of up to 400 people.
  • Create language-specific code and content to educate and evangelize developer communities.
  • Communicate insights from developer engagements to internal team members and broader audiences.
  • Collaborate with teammates to create, refine, and deliver content, events, and best practices.
  • Work with customers’ developers, architects, and internal stakeholders to support performance and scalability outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing and developer-centric roles such as Consulting, Solutions Architecture, or Developer Relations.
  • Experience working with development teams on document schema design and high-performance, scalable database implementations.
  • At least 3 years of consulting experience with development teams as a non-member of the team, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the most common customer languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with two or more customer languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Rust, or PHP.
  • Experience creating effective developer-focused code and content.
  • Strong presentation skills, including live streaming or public speaking at events.
  • Written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the UK and Europe, with some travel to India/Asia.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other data technologies is preferred.
