Description

  • Support the transition from DHIC reporting structures to a CDA-based data access framework.
  • Build consolidated data assets that combine Guidewire data with legacy P&C mainframe systems.
  • Anticipate future IT directions and align them with evolving business and platform needs.
  • Develop, specify, and communicate technology architecture for the domain.
  • Contribute to and enforce technical standards and environment requirements.
  • Provide project leadership and occasional project management on single projects within the area of expertise.
  • Work across multiple projects spanning Guidewire data integration, P&C reporting, and legacy data consolidation.
  • Operate across all lifecycle stages for solutions within the business domain.
  • Lead or serve as subject matter expert on multiple technical projects.
  • Plan technical solutions and incorporate technology advancements into existing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years of IT work experience across multiple IT areas.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Commitment to continuing education.
  • Appropriate industry certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience with Guidewire CDA and DHIC required.
  • Experience with Guidewire platforms, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire data models.
  • Preferred experience with Snowflake data platform and cloud data warehousing.
  • Preferred experience with dbt for data transformations, testing, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and SQL development for large insurance datasets.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and project life cycle principles.
  • Experience with software development dependencies and infrastructure design.
  • Expert-level working knowledge of development and debugging tools, code repository products, and client-side/server-side scripting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, self-motivation, initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.

  • Pay range of $105,200.00 to $147,950.00, commensurate with experience and location.
