Description

  • Define and execute the long-term roadmap for Talent Discovery based on historical data and evolving business priorities.
  • Refine and monitor key performance indicators to improve hiring success and team productivity.
  • Use deep talent analytics to inform resourcing decisions, identify hiring trends, and support strategic pivots.
  • Lead and coach a global team across the U.S., EMEA, and India through organizational change and ambiguity.
  • Serve as a consultant to the Recruiting Leadership Team by providing delivery projections, market intelligence, and talent mapping.
  • Advance global sourcing capabilities through new tools, AI, and training that improve sourcing craft and pipeline quality.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships to align Talent Discovery workflows with MongoDB’s business priorities and talent gaps.
  • Optimize processes and team deployment to improve efficiency, hiring velocity, and return on investment.
  • Cultivate a high-performance, inclusive team culture that balances delivery with psychological safety.
  • Stay close to the sourcing craft as a player-coach while helping shape the function’s evolution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including 4+ years of direct people management in a high-growth technology environment.
  • Proven success leading sourcing or full-lifecycle teams focused on technical talent.
  • Additional experience overseeing Sales or Go-To-Market functions is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change, ambiguity, and workflow redesign.
  • Strong talent analytics skills, including the ability to perform deep-dive analysis beyond surface-level metrics.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality deliverables for C-suite leadership and challenge the status quo.
  • Expert-level knowledge of top talent sourcing tools and passive outreach strategies.
  • Experience leveraging AI to innovate talent pipelining workflows.
  • Experience leading or partnering with international teams and navigating new employment markets.

  • Base salary range of $104,000 to $204,000 USD for U.S.-based candidates.
