Description

  • Prospect into CTOs, engineering and IT leaders, and technical end users.
  • Grow the existing MongoDB customer base by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for MongoDB products and services.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales ecosystem to drive sales initiatives and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce and Clari.
  • Use prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, and Outreach to support pipeline generation.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and support successful solution adoption.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience focused on closing new workloads and expanding accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to expand existing accounts and sell horizontally across multiple business units.
  • Proven track record of overachievement and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
  • Must live in territory and be able to work in a flexible work model.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Co-selling experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is a plus.
  • Experience working with large GSIs such as Accenture or KPMG is a plus.
  • Previous sales methodology training such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with databases, developers, and open source technology is a plus.
