Description

  • Understand customers’ applications, datasets, priorities, and success measures to design MongoDB-focused transformation approaches.
  • Translate customer use cases and challenges into scoped projects and statements of work.
  • Develop account strategies and sales plans with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams.
  • Own Professional Services deals and technical scoping from inception through closure.
  • Manage regional Professional Services bookings pipelines and revenue forecasts.
  • Articulate the business value, delivery considerations, risks, and mitigation strategies of Professional Services.
  • Create repeatable estimates, proposals, statements of work, templates, tools, and case studies with practice teams.
  • Transition agreed project scopes and customer expectations to delivery teams.
  • Mentor colleagues and share Professional Services sales best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling Professional Services and/or technology solutions at an enterprise software company.
  • Experience as an architect, consultant, project manager, or Professional Services manager.
  • Experience positioning and selling Professional Services internally and carrying a Professional Services bookings quota.
  • General knowledge of databases, including RDBMS, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of cloud and on-premises software architecture, including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Ability to scope and estimate projects and develop complex account strategies.
  • Strong presentation skills for communicating the value and differentiation of complex service solutions.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with willingness to travel for key engagements and team offsites.
