Description

  • Serve as the national point of contact for key brokerage and consulting partners across Midwest consulting firms.
  • Own day-to-day management of partner relationships and their clients as the liaison between Modern Health and benefit consultants.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and generate qualified opportunities through consultant partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for a defined set of firms to drive consistent referrals and advocacy.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Client Management to activate relationships and support client and renewal experiences.
  • Build and deepen relationships across the brokerage and consulting ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Clinical Care, and Operations on strategy and execution.
  • Lead presentations and strategic conversations that position Modern Health as a differentiated market leader.
  • Influence opportunities and market positioning through long-term relationship development.
  • Turn market insights into actionable strategy and support growth outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the employer healthcare benefits space, including brokerage, consulting, or vendor partnerships/sales.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships with national and regional brokerage and consulting firms.
  • Demonstrated success influencing pipeline through the generation of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of how consultants evaluate solutions and make recommendations to clients.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Client Management, Product, and other internal teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Healthcare, Health Management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the brokerage and consulting ecosystem and how decisions are made within matrixed organizations.
  • Grounded understanding of the Central Region market and local office dynamics.

  • Starting salary range of $172,620-$203,070 USD for Zones 1 and 2, and $155,358-$182,763 USD for Zones 3 and 4.
  • Remote work with required overlapping hours; U.S.-based team members outside Pacific time must work at least six hours between 8 am and 5 pm PT each workday.
