Description

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on talent market conditions, hiring risks, workforce strategy, and expansion planning.
  • Develop and own a multi-state talent acquisition strategy that supports growth and proactive workforce planning.
  • Design innovative recruiting channels and partnerships, including law school outreach, campus recruiting, bar associations, alumni referrals, and market-specific sourcing.
  • Lead and develop the recruiting team, setting clear KPIs and accountability measures for performance and outcomes.
  • Standardize recruiting processes and tools across states to improve consistency, pipeline visibility, candidate experience, and hiring manager alignment.
  • Build and articulate the firm’s employer value proposition to strengthen market positioning and candidate conversion.
  • Own recruiting analytics and use metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and quality-of-hire to guide decisions.
  • Partner with leadership to improve hiring quality, retention, and feedback loops across recruiting, onboarding, and operations.
  • Evaluate and optimize team structure, roles, and capabilities as the firm continues to scale.
  • Support hiring for early-career attorneys, lateral attorneys, and other high-demand legal talent across multiple markets.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 3–5 years in senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven experience building and transforming recruiting strategies and functions.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state growth.
  • Experience in high-growth and/or start-up environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing new recruiting strategies in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong experience leading teams with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Law firm recruiting experience, especially leading recruiting strategies, is highly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting early-career talent at scale is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-growth or expansion-stage organizations is highly preferred.
  • Strategic leadership ability to contribute at the enterprise and executive decision-making level.
  • Builder mentality with the ability to create systems, processes, and strategies from the ground up.
  • Execution excellence with a track record of driving initiatives to measurable results.
  • Accountability and ownership in building high-performance teams with clear expectations.
  • Data-driven thinking and the ability to use metrics to improve strategy.
  • Strong influence and partnership skills for working with senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Base salary range of $175,000–$195,000 for CO/GA/TX, with pay adjusted based on experience, location, and other lawful factors.
