Description

  • Run deep customer discovery to understand current state, desired outcomes, and the path to success for each prospect.
  • Guide customers through the Modash buying journey and consult on their influencer marketing problems.
  • Deliver highly personalized demos, customer stories, and sales materials for each team or account.
  • Manage a full inbound pipeline from first call through close.
  • Balance prospecting/new deal capture with time needed to advance and win existing opportunities.
  • Drive product adoption during sales cycles to support long-term contracts and retention.
  • Create deal plans, identify gaps and new opportunities, and maintain clear follow-ups and next steps.
  • Keep the CRM accurate and up to date so deal status is always visible.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Success, Support, Marketing, and Product to resolve issues, hand off accounts, and shape resources and roadmap priorities.
  • Help customers succeed even when Modash is not the right fit, while maintaining a world-class customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of closing deals, ideally in an inbound SaaS sales process or consultative sales environment.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales.
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is preferred.
  • Strong curiosity and empathy, with the ability to listen closely and understand customer drivers.
  • Resilience to handle rejection, obstacles, and repeated setbacks.
  • Results-oriented mindset with attention to performance, progress, and personal goals.
  • Ambitious, high-standard, get-it-done attitude with a strong bias toward action and problem solving.
  • Strong interest in the creator economy and alignment with Modash’s mission to help creators get paid.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience selling to marketing teams, e-commerce brands, or within the creator economy is a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with how Shopify brands run growth and marketing is a nice-to-have.
