Description

  • Own Mixlab’s lifecycle marketing program end-to-end, including strategy, journey architecture, automation builds, QA, and ongoing optimization.
  • Audit existing Iterable journeys and identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and build automated customer journeys across welcome, activation, refill, win-back, loyalty, and other lifecycle stages.
  • Develop segmentation strategies that personalize messaging based on species, medication type, purchase behavior, and customer lifecycle stage.
  • Establish and manage testing cadences for subject lines, send times, content, and offers to improve performance.
  • Expand Iterable beyond marketing communications into transactional communications while managing IP warming and deliverability best practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on lifecycle performance metrics such as open rate, click rate, conversion, repeat purchase rate, and churn.
  • Write, design, and produce B2C email and SMS campaigns for promotions, refill moments, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and one-off initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end consumer-facing email and SMS content production, from copywriting to template design.
  • Track lifecycle KPIs, pull data using Metabase and other BI tools, and surface actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or email marketing with hands-on automation building experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a marketing automation platform, with Iterable strongly preferred and Klaviyo or Braze also considered.
  • Working knowledge of email deliverability, IP warming, and channel infrastructure.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write subject lines and nurture sequences independently.
  • Hands-on email design experience and comfort owning the full production process from copy to send.
  • Fluency with AI tools as part of a day-to-day workflow.
  • Analytical ability to pull data, identify performance trends, and present findings clearly.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Must be located in the United States.

Benefits

  • Full-time remote position.
  • Salary of $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
