Description

  • Assist in building, scheduling, QAing, and launching email and SMS campaigns using Twilio and SendGrid.
  • Set up and QA automated lifecycle flows such as onboarding, re-engagement, and retention campaigns.
  • Manage audience lists, segmentation criteria, suppression files, and workflow documentation.
  • Prepare and format email templates in collaboration with the design team.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, internal deliverables, and marketing calendars to keep launches on schedule.
  • Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, templates, and campaign documentation.
  • Support A/B test setup, results documentation, and campaign performance reporting.
  • Track and report on key email and SMS metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and unsubscribes.
  • Assist in identifying trends in campaign data and opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
  • Help ensure campaigns comply with CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR and support list hygiene processes.

Requirements

  • Up to 1–2 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with internships and relevant coursework counting toward experience.
  • Basic familiarity with email marketing concepts such as deliverability, segmentation, open rates, and click-through rates.
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Great written communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Eagerness to learn marketing platforms and grow into a technical marketing role.
  • Any hands-on experience with an email platform such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, SendGrid, or similar is preferred.
  • Exposure to SMS marketing, A/B testing concepts, or basic HTML/email templating is preferred.
