Description

  • Create original algorithmic problems with clear statements, constraints, and intended solutions.
  • Write correct reference solutions in C++ and Python.
  • Develop realistic incorrect solutions representing common programming mistakes.
  • Build generators, edge cases, stress tests, and hacking tests.
  • Write testlib checkers and interactors for problems with multiple valid outputs.
  • Validate that correct solutions pass and incorrect solutions fail within time limits.
  • Complete assigned project tasks by deadlines and acceptance criteria.
  • Review problem quality at senior levels where applicable.

Requirements

  • Public competitive-programming profile with a Codeforces rating of 1700+ or equivalent IOI, ICPC, or national-olympiad achievement.
  • Competitive-programming proficiency in C++, including STL and complexity analysis.
  • Comfortable writing Python.
  • Ability to explain why solutions are incorrect and create inputs that expose failures.
  • Strong written English at C1+ level; applicants must submit a CV in English and indicate English proficiency.
  • Associate level: Codeforces rating 1700–2100 or equivalent achievement.
  • Expert level: Codeforces rating 2200–2600 or equivalent achievement.
  • Senior/Reviewer level: Codeforces rating 2600+, IOI/ICPC medalist status, or equivalent.
  • Problem-setting or testing experience for Codeforces, ICPC, national olympiads, or online judges is preferred.
  • Testlib experience or experience creating LLM code benchmarks and evaluation datasets is preferred.

Benefits

  • Payment per accepted task, with compensation up to the equivalent of $90 per hour.
