Description

  • Act as the bridge between hotel accounting teams and the Mews platform.
  • Guide clients through financial workflow optimization and system setup.
  • Provide expert support for complex accounting issues, including month-end and year-end reporting, ledger and payout reconciliations, VAT and city tax compliance, and billing or invoice corrections.
  • Translate complex accounting needs into seamless Mews workflows for customers.
  • Deliver training and support to help clients use the platform effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to drive product improvements.
  • Stay current on accounting trends in hospitality and help clients remain compliant and competitive.

Requirements

  • Experience in hotel accounting or finance operations, such as night audit.
  • Strong understanding of German accounting standards and VAT frameworks.
  • Experience with PMS tools such as Opera, Cloudbeds, or Guestline and accounting tools such as DATEV, Xero, or SAP.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical people.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Comfort working in a remote-first, cross-functional environment.
  • Interest in SaaS, business intelligence, or financial analytics in hospitality.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Experience with German accounting frameworks in hospitality is especially valuable.
