Description

  • Define, design, and maintain a scalable, resilient, and high-performance services platform.
  • Develop and expose REST and GraphQL APIs for critical applications.
  • Work with asynchronous messaging systems and event-driven, decoupled architectures.
  • Apply Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles in system design and implementation.
  • Build automation and monitoring tooling, including infrastructure as code, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Ensure best practices for security, versioning, and continuous deployment.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as API Gateway, ELB, ECS, and CloudWatch.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to deliver robust production solutions.

Requirements

  • Solid backend development experience with Java, Python, and/or Golang, with Java highly desirable.
  • Front-end development experience with Next.js (React) or Vue.js.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-transactionality, high-availability systems handling millions of transactions per month.
  • Strong experience creating and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including API Gateway, ALB/NLB, ECS, SQS, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MKS.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Git, ideally using Azure DevOps.
  • Must be located in Mexico for remote work or available for hybrid work in CDMX or Guadalajara.
  • Strong command of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.
  • Deep understanding of API security patterns, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
  • Proficiency in unit and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and Clean Code best practices.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi is preferred.
  • Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube, code coverage analysis, and code smell detection is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as API Management and AWS Lambda is preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced communication protocols such as gRPC or WebSockets is preferred.
