Description

  • Lead and manage a 90–100 person Operations function across complexity tiers, ensuring operational excellence and scalability.
  • Define and execute the operations roadmap, driving strategic initiatives such as automation projects, process optimization, and technology partnerships.
  • Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, forecast volume, map capacity, and surface automation or continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Supervise and coach Team Leads to convert reactive supervision into data-driven coaching, including establishing feedback loops, root-cause analysis, and capacity roadmaps.
  • Ensure productivity targets and SLAs are met across multiple workloads by optimizing resource allocation, utilization, and real-time capacity management.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Training, Program Management, Product, Governance, Client Success) to align processes, resolve escalations, and architect end-to-end workflows that reduce manual effort.
  • Design, implement, and scale QA frameworks and process controls to maintain high data accuracy and reduce the overall cost of quality.
  • Act as escalation point for workflow bottlenecks and process issues, communicating risks, mitigation strategies, and KPI health to senior management via regular reviews.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and career development for team members and Team Leads, building succession pipelines and measurable leadership capability improvements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data operations, data quality, or shared services roles.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager of managers (managing Team Leads, Associate Managers, or Managers).
  • Location: India — remote (role is India-remote).
  • Proven proficiency with data and analytics tools and reporting (examples cited: Looker, PowerBI, advanced Excel) and experience building dashboards and capacity models.
  • Experience driving automation, tech integrations, or transitioning teams from manual to AI-augmented workflows (expected to lead multiple major automation initiatives annually).
  • Strong people leadership and development experience, including mentoring Team Leads, building career paths, and managing change across large teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality and process excellence, including designing robust QA frameworks and achieving high accuracy baselines (target 98%+).
  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically: align with senior leadership vision while executing day-to-day operational decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Governance, Program Management, Client Success) and managing global/time-zone distributed operations.
  • Industry context (preferred): experience in media intelligence, ad-tech, data tagging, taxonomy management, or content moderation is a strong plus.
