Description

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the North America studio fleet, including revenue, payroll, expenses, and profitability.
  • Set and execute the operational strategy for all studios, translating company vision into programs across North America.
  • Drive top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability through membership growth, client retention, package and retail sales, and new studio performance.
  • Establish performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms across the field organization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop senior field leaders, including Senior Directors, Directors, and Area Managers.
  • Build and scale a high-performing field leadership structure with consistent communication, decision-making, and operating rhythms.
  • Design and execute turnaround plans for underperforming markets or studios in partnership with field leaders.
  • Oversee hiring, succession planning, and development for the studio operations talent pipeline.
  • Partner with People & Culture on leadership development, talent calibration, performance management, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Drive operational excellence across the fleet by improving standards, tools, communication, and workflows.
  • Analyze studio performance data and lead teams to act on insights related to retention, team performance, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead new studio launch strategy and partner cross-functionally to ensure openings execute effectively and ramp quickly.
  • Inform future growth decisions using studio performance, market dynamics, and organizational needs.
  • Represent studio operations in executive leadership discussions, board updates, and investor conversations as needed.
  • Oversee rollout of major company-wide initiatives and ensure consistent execution across the field.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit operations within fitness, retail, hospitality, consumer services, or a similarly fast-paced, customer-centric industry.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a VP-level or equivalent executive role with direct oversight of regional or national operations teams.
  • Experience managing multi-layered field organizations across geographically dispersed markets.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Deep experience with full P&L ownership and financial management across multiple locations or markets.
  • Demonstrated success building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of unit-level economics, sales levers, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to lead through change while holding leaders accountable through transformation.
  • Outstanding communication skills and executive presence with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Genuine passion for fitness, wellness, and the [solidcore] mission.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or consumer services is preferred.
