Description

  • Partner with Sales Executives and clinician-led Sales Solution Architects to lead complex pre-sales engagements across payer and provider markets.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer IT, security, architecture, and digital health stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead technical solution strategies for Smart on FHIR, RESTful APIs, healthcare data exchange, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Apply API-driven, service-based, and event-driven architecture expertise to support embedded workflows, extensibility, scalability, and integration patterns.
  • Explain and validate integration approaches for structured and unstructured healthcare data, including normalization, transformation, and downstream usage.
  • Translate how AI models are incorporated into MCG solutions, including data inputs and outputs, governance, oversight, and workflow integration.
  • Lead complex enterprise deals involving EHR integrations and digital ecosystem expansion.
  • Own technical due diligence activities such as security reviews, vendor risk assessments, technical RFP/RFI responses, and penetration testing discussions.
  • Design and present technical solution architectures, system diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment models.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Implementation teams to validate feasibility, assumptions, constraints, and implementation approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience discussing complex technical integrations, architecture, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow integration with large healthcare customers.
  • Experience responding to detailed security, privacy, and compliance questions from enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development concepts, API-driven integrations, service-based architectures, and embedded application workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7, and Smart on FHIR-based integrations.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills and exceptional client-facing communication abilities.
  • Travel up to 25% to client sites and MCG-sponsored events.
  • Relevant technical certifications in cloud, security, interoperability, or integration technologies are preferred.
  • Consultative, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguous technical environments.
