Description

  • Design and deliver structured technical enablement programs for GSI and cloud partner teams, including bootcamps, workshops, certification pathways, and partner readiness frameworks.
  • Serve as Matillion’s technical lead in joint partner-led sales cycles, supporting solution design, discovery, and technical validation.
  • Work with Alliances and Sales to activate co-sell motions with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and other cloud marketplace partners.
  • Own the end-to-end technical onboarding journey for new GSI and cloud partners from product orientation through delivery readiness.
  • Independently demo, implement, and support Matillion within agreed partner onboarding timeframes.
  • Act as the internal voice of the partner ecosystem by surfacing product gaps, feature requests, and integration needs to Product and Engineering.
  • Enable internal field teams to confidently communicate partner-led Matillion use cases.
  • Build Matillion’s credibility in the partner ecosystem through technical thought leadership, including blogs, white papers, solution briefs, partner QBRs, conferences, and joint field events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Partner SE, or Technical Presales role within the data, analytics, or cloud ecosystem.
  • Proven experience enabling GSI or cloud partner teams at scale, including training programs and certification frameworks.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of data integration, ELT/ETL architecture, and modern cloud data platform design.
  • Direct experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ability to build and navigate complex partner organizations, including GSI practice leads, cloud alliance teams, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical deep dives and executive briefings.
  • Ability to manage multiple partner programs simultaneously in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Commercial awareness combined with strong technical judgment and a collaborative approach.
