Description

  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Samplize App based on customer behavior and the existing audience.
  • Own the end-to-end product experience from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Lead the AI and computer-vision visualization experience to deliver best-in-class color accuracy and lighting realism.
  • Drive sample sales growth by connecting the app with Samplize’s core sample business across web, app stores, and marketing channels.
  • Own the cost-estimate engine and help users take the next step by finding a painter or buying the paint.
  • Turn customer research and product data into a differentiated, validated consumer experience.
  • Work directly with engineers and designers to scope technical problems, make product decisions, and ship in small increments.
  • Present product decisions and progress to leadership.
  • Partner with the GM and Material Bank leadership across site, marketing, the App Store, and Google Play.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience shipping a 0-to-1 consumer mobile app that people actively use.
  • Experience owning technically challenging products alongside ML, computer-vision, or AR engineering teams.
  • Comfort reasoning about technical feasibility and tradeoffs.
  • Strong design and craft sensibility with attention to how products look and feel.
  • Data fluency, including defining metrics, pricing logic, and instrumentation.
  • Self-starting, hands-on approach with the ability to drive outcomes independently.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, New York, NY.
  • Bonus: experience with AR, camera, or try-before-you-buy products.
  • Bonus: experience in home and interiors or e-commerce / DTC commerce.
