Description

  • Communicate with clients to gather issue reports and troubleshoot problems during afternoon and evening hours.
  • Review error tracking tools, infrastructure, and third-party integrations to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Prioritize bugs and client requests and manage ongoing support work.
  • Write readable, maintainable JavaScript code and improve existing product functionality.
  • Design and modify basic database structures using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Document delivered code, solutions, and troubleshooting outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions and estimates with the team.
  • Improve and reuse the company knowledge base.
  • Monitor technology trends, share knowledge, and contribute to technical quality improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial Node.js experience.
  • Experience debugging AWS applications and services such as Cognito, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, and Lambda.
  • Strong JavaScript knowledge, including ES2018+, object-oriented programming, clean code, and best practices.
  • Experience with a Node.js backend framework; Express.js preferred, with Koa.js or similar also considered.
  • Experience with relational SQL databases, including integration and basic design using ORMs or query builders such as Sequelize or Knex.
  • Experience with NoSQL or in-memory databases such as MongoDB or Redis is preferred.
  • Knowledge of design and architecture patterns, SOLID, KISS, Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions.
  • English and Polish proficiency at C1 level.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and client communication abilities.
  • Preferred experience with TypeScript, serverless systems, support roles, Agile/Scrum, automation tools, open source, React debugging, or additional backend frameworks.
