Description

Own SaaS and ancillary billing, including data validation and cross-system reconciliations.
Own reporting and analysis of core operational metrics, including total bookings.
Support stabilization of the new accounting software by identifying root causes and resolving system issues.
Lead functional and reporting improvements within the new accounting platform.
Improve and streamline billing workflows and system reconciliations in partnership with Product Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
Build and enhance operational metrics reporting through automation using BI tools and/or AI applications.
Own the end-to-end sales commission calculation and reconciliation process.
Lead ad hoc initiatives and evolving projects as business needs change.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Revenue Operations, Order-to-Cash, Billing Operations, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, Business Systems, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, ideally in a SaaS subscription business.
Experience investigating inconsistencies, validating data, and reconciling information across multiple systems.
Working knowledge of accounting software, CRMs, operational platforms, and databases.
Experience improving, documenting, or automating operational workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or both, including complex datasets, formulas, and reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt in an evolving environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering.
Preferred: experience leading ERP, accounting software (Campfire preferred), billing system, or financial systems implementations or migrations.
Preferred: deep knowledge of SaaS billing models, recurring revenue, bookings, renewals, contract changes, and subscription adjustments.
Preferred: working knowledge of accounting principles and primary financial statements.
Preferred: experience with Power BI, basic DAX, Tableau, SQL, or another analytics platform.
Preferred: experience using AI tools to automate or improve Finance and Operations workflows.
Preferred: experience calculating or reconciling sales commissions.
Preferred: experience working in a fast-growing organization where processes and systems are still being built.
Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline.
