Description

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
  • Own features end-to-end from initial design through release and ongoing improvement.
  • Build and ship production changes quickly while balancing speed, quality, and business impact.
  • Challenge ideas constructively and contribute strong technical opinions to product decisions.
  • Use AI coding tools as an accelerator while maintaining human review and quality standards.
  • Share best practices on prompt engineering, AI-assisted refactoring, and code quality with the team.
  • Help drive architectural decisions for modular, testable backend systems.
  • Maintain stewardship over the full feature lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and monitoring.
  • Work within a specialized squad responsible for a specific business domain and full development cycle.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • First experience in a product company such as SaaS, fintech, or marketplace.
  • Deep proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience navigating complex backend architectures, APIs, and data models.
  • Ability to think product-first and propose improvements beyond the code.
  • Experience with architectural patterns such as Hexagonal Architecture (preferred).
  • Ability to balance long-term scalability with rapid iteration.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Cursor, Gemini, or Claude Code (preferred).
  • Fluent English, with confidence speaking and writing in an English-speaking environment.
  • Willingness to work remotely from an eligible country in Europe or from Paris.
  • Experience building CI/CD, testing, observability, and monitoring into feature delivery.
