Description

  • Design and build Android growth and monetization experiments across subscriptions, pricing, advertising, in-app purchases, and upsell flows.
  • Partner with product, design, data science, and analytics teams to turn hypotheses into shippable experiments and follow-up decisions.
  • Use AI coding tools to create specifications, generate code and tests, verify results, and conduct reviews.
  • Instrument experiments with accurate exposure logging and analytics.
  • Ship performant, reliable Android experiences for tens of millions of users.
  • Turn ambiguous or partially specified ideas into working user-facing experiments quickly.
  • Define AI-native Android engineering practices and reusable playbooks.
  • Contribute to architecture, code reviews, technical standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Mentor engineers and support team processes and AI workflow adoption.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Android software engineering experience shipping production consumer applications at scale.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
  • Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills, plus familiarity with the Android View system, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android tooling.
  • Experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, Jetpack/ViewModel/Navigation, and Hilt or Dagger in large codebases.
  • Experience with feature flags, A/B testing, exposure logging, holdouts, and guardrail metrics.
  • Knowledge of Android performance and diagnostics, including profiling, memory, battery, ANR, and crash analysis.
  • Experience with Android CI/CD, Gradle, modular build systems, and tools such as Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
  • Hands-on expertise with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context-window management, and MCP/function calling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experimentation platforms, mobile analytics pipelines, Bayesian or sequential testing, consumer subscription or pricing experiences, cross-platform development, or open-source/developer-tooling contributions.

  • US salary of $118,500–$216,500 or Canada salary of $171,500–$201,000, with geographic variation.
