Description

  • Own and exceed revenue targets for Mexico and the Caribbean through strategic channel partners.
  • Identify, vet, recruit, and onboard Tier 1 EPCs, energy developers, and integrators, with a focus on Mexico.
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams across Product, Finance, and Engineering to support partner deal closures.
  • Train and enable partners to sell Mainspring’s value proposition around power quality, resiliency, and fuel flexibility.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the Mexican utility environment and behind-the-meter applications.
  • Manage pipeline health, partner performance, and revenue forecasting using KPIs and data-driven processes.
  • Navigate complex utility landscapes and support partner-driven sales in data center and distributed energy markets.
  • Negotiate and advance high-contract-value transactions with C-suite stakeholders and regional partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in energy or power generation sales.
  • At least 5 years of experience focused on the Mexico and Caribbean markets.
  • Native or near-native Spanish fluency is required.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and building trust with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proven track record selling complex, big-ticket energy solutions such as turbines, generators, electrical infrastructure, fuel cells, microgrids, large-scale storage, or industrial power generation.
  • History of meeting or exceeding quotas above $10M.
  • Comfort with project finance concepts such as IRR, NPV, and PPA structures.
  • Ability to communicate technical value to engineering stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or quantitative degrees are highly preferred.
  • Based in or able to travel frequently to Mexico; Southern California, Texas, or Florida is preferred.

  • $145,000 to $170,000 annual base salary.
