Description

  • Define and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with team goals and product evolution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in test strategy and tooling within the team’s domain.
  • Design and manage automated testing suites, including CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Validate deployments across multiple cloud environments.
  • Work closely with developers to improve product quality.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable test solutions for cloud-based products.
  • Develop cloud test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation tools with product managers and other SDETs.
  • Support testing of deployments and integrations across cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Experience in Software Development in Test with a strong focus on cloud automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or Java.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, SDKs, and system integration testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, DataDog, or CloudWatch (nice to have).
  • Experience with BDD (nice to have).
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch (nice to have).
  • Exposure to security testing, performance testing, and regression strategies (nice to have).
  • Experience with Docker containers (nice to have).
