Description

  • Build self-serve advertising systems that let agents launch, manage, and report on Meta and Google ad campaigns within the platform.
  • Develop AI-generated social video pipelines that turn listing and agent data into branded content published to Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms.
  • Design data models and event architecture for full-funnel attribution from ad click to conversation to deal stage change.
  • Build systems that improve SEO and generative search visibility for real estate agents.
  • Shape platform architecture and technical direction for an AI-augmented engineering organization.
  • Lead high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and executive stakeholders on complex technical tradeoffs and delivery decisions.
  • Raise engineering standards for software design, system architecture, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including meaningful senior or staff-level experience.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments; AWS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems such as Kafka and SQS, and distributed databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proven track record leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Expert-level understanding of software design principles and multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Experience building with AI daily, including use of Claude Code as a core workflow tool.
  • Strong opinions, loosely held, on how AI changes software architecture, team structure, and engineering culture.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities.
