Description

  • Manage and maintain all variable compensation programs, including sales commissions, customer success incentives, and leadership bonuses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation and payment of commissions and bonuses each pay period.
  • Own the commission management platform end to end, including plan configuration, payout workflows, and rep-facing dashboards.
  • Manage the vendor relationship with the commission software provider and evaluate new tools as needed.
  • Resolve compensation inquiries and disputes using audit trails and dashboards.
  • Partner with GTM leadership to design, iterate, and optimize compensation plans that align with business strategy.
  • Model scenarios and analyze the impact of compensation plan changes before implementation.
  • Own the annual compensation planning cycle for variable pay programs.
  • Build reporting cadences, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that provide leadership visibility into compensation performance and retention.
  • Support equity compensation administration and contribute to total rewards strategy as the company scales.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commission planning, variable compensation, or sales compensation analysis.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end commission processes for Sales or GTM teams.
  • Hands-on administration experience with a commission management platform such as QuotaPath, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly, or similar.
  • Experience designing or materially improving compensation plans that produced measurable results.
  • Background in Finance, Sales Operations, or HR Compensation is a plus.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including building models with nested formulas for scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Comfort working with data from CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, as well as HRIS and financial systems.
  • AI-forward approach with active use of AI tools to improve efficiency, analysis, and automation.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining compensation plans to both salespeople and executives.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with a bias toward action.
