Description

  • Lead the EMEA Pre-Sales Engineering and Solution Architecture functions across the region.
  • Support strategic deal discovery, ideation, and education programs to uncover customer pain points and solution opportunities.
  • Guide Solution Consultants in delivering value-driven consultations and platform demonstrations.
  • Partner with Sales leadership on strategies for new business, renewals, upsells, RFPs, and technical proposals.
  • Engage directly with technical stakeholders, economic buyers, and C-level executives to explain technical value and architecture.
  • Oversee billable Solution Architects to ensure utilization, capacity planning, and successful post-sales delivery.
  • Drive technical discovery, solution framing, and architectural governance for LivePerson’s portfolio.
  • Develop processes, solution blueprints, API integration standards, and scoping tools.
  • Manage technical scope, API requirements, and solution deliverables through change management.
  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex onboarding and implementation issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Solution Architecture or Technical Pre-Sales experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience heading a Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture practice.
  • Experience managing both pre-sales resources and billable delivery-focused technical teams in a multi-product SaaS environment.
  • Deep architectural understanding of API-first SaaS platforms, web services (REST, SOAP), integration middleware, webhooks, microservices, and identity management (OAuth, SAML).
  • Strong familiarity with Conversational AI, LLMs, and messaging protocols is highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and executive settings.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor employees, manage customer expectations, and drive technical excellence.
  • Ability to translate complex technical architectures into compelling business outcomes and ROI narratives.
