Description

  • Partner with the Sales team to communicate Grafana Labs’ value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to create feedback loops on products and the competitive landscape.
  • Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems uncovered during interactions.
  • Support ongoing customer enablement through hands-on guidance and technical interaction.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering by sharing customer insights and field feedback.
  • Help create and improve documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other enablement materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally in open source technologies or the metrics/monitoring space.
  • Ideally located in the Ontario area.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, international team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal collaboration and customer-facing discussions.
  • Ability to clearly articulate product value and technical advantages.
  • Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in a startup environment with varied and complex responsibilities.
  • Technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
  • Comfort solving technical challenges and creating practical solutions for customers.
  • Prior experience in post-sales or engineering, or a recent coding bootcamp graduate, is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, initiative-taking, creative, and adaptable.
