Description

  • Define and lead the overall persona-based and account-based marketing strategy for priority accounts.
  • Own marketing performance against pipeline growth, revenue, and broader commercial priorities.
  • Develop and refine positioning, messaging, value propositions, narrative, and brand consistency.
  • Research customer needs, market dynamics, and competitor positioning to inform strategy.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Product to translate insight into go-to-market direction and product positioning.
  • Provide strategic direction and final sign-off for campaigns, events, and product or feature launches.
  • Oversee marketing operations, including lead scoring, MQL/SQL definitions, and the marketing-to-sales handover process.
  • Track and report on marketing-influenced pipeline, channel performance, and CAC, using insights to optimise effectiveness.
  • Line manage the Marketing Campaign Manager, setting priorities and supporting performance and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience owning end-to-end marketing strategy in a B2B environment.
  • Strong track record of developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience working closely with Sales to drive pipeline.
  • Demonstrable ability to use data to track performance, generate insight, and continuously optimise marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience leading and overseeing multi-channel marketing execution.
  • Experience line managing direct reports.
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is desirable.
  • Background in health tech or life sciences is desirable.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and complex or enterprise sales cycles is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the HubSpot marketing suite is desirable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • This is a full-time fixed-term maternity cover role starting in June 2026 and lasting 12 months until June 2027.
  • The role is hybrid in Leeds or fully remote within the UK.
