Description

  • Own the Financial Services go-to-market strategy and growth execution plan.
  • Drive C-level relationships with customers and generate new customer logos and revenue growth.
  • Build account-level, segment-level, and region-level go-to-market plans with sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Develop strategic executive relationships with ISV and CSI partners.
  • Identify operational gaps across GTM sub-segments and lead data-driven improvement plans.
  • Develop sub-vertical sales plays with Sales Programs teams to create scalable, regionally tailored motions.
  • Author white papers, speak at events, and represent Databricks as an industry thought leader.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across product, sales, pre-sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to improve productivity of vertical sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Work with marketing to create Financial Services content, collateral, blogs, demand generation plans, and events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an executive in banking.
  • Deep knowledge of global banking/payments, capital markets, and insurance regulations, with a strong focus on European regulations.
  • Experience driving change at large financial services institutions from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Strong customer-facing presence with the ability to cultivate executive relationships and open doors for field teams.
  • Experience building vertical solutions on an existing technology platform that has generated revenue and customer value.
  • Experience working with sales and technical pre-sales teams and building go-to-market sales kits.
  • Strong knowledge of the technology landscape in banking and payments.
  • Hands-on program management experience for vertical solutions, including prioritizing business requirements, tracking timelines, coordinating marketing assets and events, and managing partner milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to enable and coach sales teams on positioning technology to financial services customers.
