Description

  • Define and execute a North America field events plan to increase brand visibility and support measurable business goals.
  • Develop and run localized marketing strategies to generate demand, leads, and sales pipeline in target regions.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned event experiences.
  • Plan and execute a range of events, including executive dinners, trade shows, client conferences, internal gatherings, and multi-city roadshows.
  • Own event execution, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, pre-event and post-event marketing, and post-event analysis.
  • Track event attendance, leads, opportunities, pipeline, and client feedback to measure success.
  • Analyze event performance and present actionable insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to improve event effectiveness and client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or corporate events management experience in a technology, software, or e-commerce organization, with a focus on North America events.
  • Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector, with an emphasis on engaging e-commerce audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading industry events similar to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
  • Proven ownership and management of event budgets across different scales and levels of complexity.
  • Experience planning events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and how to apply them to event success and field marketing impact.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting events across North America in diverse industries and market segments preferred.
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results preferred.
  • Preferably based on the U.S. East Coast for collaboration with a global field marketing team.
  • Travel required: 25%–40%.

  • Expected base salary range of $100,000–$145,000 per year.
  • Expected discretionary bonus of 12% of annual base salary for this non-sales role.
