Description

  • Manage, coach, and develop the People Operations Business Partner while scaling the function and establishing performance standards.
  • Advise senior executives on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into people strategies, workforce-planning frameworks, career paths, and organizational design standards.
  • Develop strategies for the impact of AI and automation on roles, skills, team structures, and management practices.
  • Guide organizational restructures, leadership transitions, position eliminations, and other major workforce changes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex labor and employee-relations matters, partnering with Legal on investigations and risk assessments.
  • Lead cross-functional people initiatives from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and evaluation.
  • Use workforce data to identify trends, organizational health indicators, risks, and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Drive improvements to people policies, processes, systems, self-service tools, and manager experiences.
  • Support inclusive, accountable, psychologically safe teams and coach leaders on organizational effectiveness and performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of People Operations and/or Human Resources experience.
  • Enterprise-level experience translating business strategy into organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and NLRA.
  • Strong HCM systems experience; Workday HCM experience preferred.
  • Ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience coaching and developing talent and building collaborative relationships with executives, managers, employees, and union representatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using workforce data to evaluate trends, risks, and decisions.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and ability to handle complex or sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment.
  • Proficiency with GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Excel, Apple computers, and other remote-work tools.
  • Experience in government contracting, consulting, professional services, technology, or project-based organizations preferred.
  • Experience with unionized environments, organizational redesign, restructuring, M&A, job architecture, compensation, succession planning, or workforce analytics preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; role may require a background check or security clearance.
  • Residence in one of Nava’s approved states and ability to work from the contiguous United States.
